Independence of the Arstotzkan Union
The Independence of the Arstotzkan Union was a long and timely process. It was marked through the suffering of war and conflict. Although the Federal Government sees the process as beginning in 2019 (August 22) and finishing in 2020 (June 29th), many consider it on going as the nation has never had its requests of independence acknowledged by any macro-nation.
Actions
2019
On August 22, in a congress of his pairs, Ethan Brinkman declared the Independence of the Arstotzkan Union in what is now known as Capitol, Arstotzkan Capitol District. He said
"I hereby declare this land free from the state of New Zealand and myself as new Sovereign of the state of the Arstotzkan Union"
Later that day, the National Assembly ratified a request from the President to establish a national Constitution, Defense Force and all other branches required for government. A declaration of Independence was never created in this instance and the National Assembly saw the Constitution as a symbol of the nations independence.
2020
Following two Civil Conflicts, on the night of June 29, 2020, the Declaration of Independence, Sovereignty and Freedom was created and became a symbol of the nations independence.
2022
A revision of the Declaration of Independence was created on April 11 and has now replaced the former Declaration of Independence, Sovereignty and Freedom[1]
