The Imperial Atieran Broadcasting Corporation, commonly known as IABC, is the crown-chartered and state-run broadcaster of the Second Empire of Atiera. It was founded on 4 January 2022 through an act passed in the Common Council of Atiera.[1] It operates on YouTube as well as the official Atieran website. The organization is run by an Executive Director, currently, William Cooper.

History

The IABC was founded on 4 January 2022 when a bill proposed by now Executive Director and Common Councillor William Cooper passed in the Common Council unopposed. The organization was founded to "provide reporting on a variety of domestic and intermicronational topics of note, without bias".[1] It is described as a public broadcaster "which produces informative audiovisual content on platforms such as YouTube".

The first article on their official website was titled "John Bercow's choice words for the GUM",[2] which report's on a Cameo made by John Bercow,[3] which Emperor Alexander I purchased for both the Grand Unified Micronational and the Cupertino Alliance. The article describes the events of the Cameo and the criticism it received from the GUM.
