Etymology
The city's name is a combination of the words "Guildford" and "shire". It was named this after the city Luke of Wellmoore was born in, Guildford.
History
The city was established to help Wellmoore to grow and develop. It was established on 17 March 2022 by Luke of Wellmoore.
Governance
The city is governed by the Mayor of Guildfordshire who chairs the Guildfordshire City Council. The Mayor is elected by direct election.
