The Governor of Donnauberg (German: Gouverneur des Donnäuberg) is the head of government of the Donnauberg Province. The governor serves as the vice-regal representative of the King of Laskaridia and the ceremonial deputy head-of-state and the ceremonial deputy to the Seneschal of Donnauberg. The governor sometimes assists the Seneschal in ceremonial duties and can act as head of state in the absence of a Seneschal.

The position came into place after the foundation of the Province of Donnauberg. The Governor's office is currently held by Aran Mark Daniel, the Lord Daniel. The Governor of the Province's main duties are the preside over the Reprasentantenkammer (lit. Representative Chamber) , Donnauberg's local devolved legislative chamber.

The deputy to the Governor of the Province of Donnauberg is the Lieutenant Governor of Donnauberg, who assists the Governor in discharging his duties officially. And taking the place of the Governor between absences in the Governor's tenure. The current Governor is able to create and form a cabinet, which has several positions.

Role

The Governors role is the following:

1. To preside and regulate the flow of legislature in the Reprasentenkammer
2. To delegate cabinet positions which will manage regional government aspects
3. To maintain law and order and general administration of the state.
4. To communicate and brief the Seneschal, King and Cabinet about activities in the state.
5. To appoint state and civil officers with the consultation of government officials.
