George I was King of The Sovereign Military Kingdom of the Land of the Bears from August 1969 until his death In July of 1986.

King George was The Father of Alan I of the Bears and at the time of the founding of the nation in 1961 he was never expected to become King, he supported King Alan and all of his policies up until 1969, with some excpected debate on the cheese policies, which he later learned to embrace. He carried out many royal duties as the king's father and acted as a close advisor to alan on many issues.

Once The 1969 Great Bear War happened George had grown his reputation as a great statesman and advisor, he was trusted by the general populous. George fought valiantly during the war with king alan's support but when Alan had lost the August raid, Alan abdicated the throne and he was made king, he was less than happy about this initally, but learnt to accept it over time. He used many guerilla tactics during the wilderness years between 1969 and 1975 to take down and weaken Davids Neo-fascist anti bear regime. With King Alan and Princess Rita in 1975 all plotted together to take back the nation once and for all from the fascist regime, they succeded fought of the humans and took down the fascist regime.

During his latter years as monarch he was a steadfast leader and led through an age of partying, dope smoking and peace.

He died in his sleep in July 1986, leaving the throne to a regency council headed by King Alan.
