Traditional
The Traditional flag of Hurmu has two-horizontal lines with the top being white, and the bottom being light blue. In the left-middle there is a circle with colours on the opposite sides. This flag is similar to the one's of Greenland's.
Meaning
The meaning of the Traditional flag of Hurmu is not well known, but it probably has to do with the capital's very cold winters, thus theoretically meaning the white means snow, and the light blue means ice/cold.
Timeline
First Traditional flag
The first Traditional flag of Hurmu was adopted in 1476 AN (Norton calendar[1]) back when Hurmu was known as the Hurmu Republik. The meaning was the same, except the colours were inverted and the blue was darker.
Second Traditional flag
The second Traditional flag of Hurmu had adopted the current pattern with the same meaning, except the blue was still dark.
Third Traditional flag
(Current Traditional flag)
Sacred
The Sacred flag of Hurmu has a white background with six dark blue dots in the middle. The dots are made in a pattern of three on the top, two in the middle, and one on the bottom in a triangular form.
Meaning
The white probably stands for snow like the Traditional, but the six dots represents six lakes, sacred to Hurmu. They are Anseth, Arquous, Cashma, Dawnuck, Nemb, and Shelm, collectively known as 'the Heartland'.[2]
Types
Regular flag
The regular Sacred flag of Hurmu is the main flag of the Realms of the Order of the Holy Lakes.
Civil flag
The civil Sacred flag of Hurmu is used by civil people in some circumstances, instead of the regular. It contains the six "sacred" blue dots, but the white background becomes the top part of a now two-lined horizontal flag. The bottom dark blue is the same colour as the dots.
War flag
The war Sacred flag of Hurmu is used when Hurmu is at war. A canton in the top left corner contains the Traditional without the circle, replaced by the Sacred COA. The background is dark red.
This article was made by MarkyPolski; currently working on the main Hurmu page, possibly a Hurmu COA page; Kurum Ash-Sharqia, even with so much more to go; and Moorland, same with Kurum but much closer. Also PoliWoli, but that fake micronation that my brother created is not on Micras.
