The Tonna government was the first government of the Kingdom of Dungailliamh. The government was led by Chief Minister Matthew Tonna, having been appointed to the office by King Michael I. The government continued after the abdication of King Michael and the ascension of Queen Catherine I. After Tonna’s party gained a majority of the house, his party proposed ending the provisional government. The motion passed and the second government of Matthew Tonna took office.
