Matthew Tonna serves as the incumbent Chancellor.
History
The office of Chancellor, then the Chief Minister was established in late August 2022 with the foundation of Dungailliamh, by King Micheal I, with Matthew Tonna appointed as the Chief Minister. The office was renamed to Chancellor on the 20th of February 2023.
Duties and responsibilities
The Chancellor is a relatively weak office, whose purpose is to keep the Privy Council and Parliament up and running. He is the direct advisor to the Queen, or when the monarch is incapacitated or under 13 years of age, the Regent.
