The First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff (French: Premier seigneur des mers et chef d'état-major de la Royal Navale) (Latin: Primum Dominus Mare et Dux Tabula Navalis) is the professional head of the Navy of Laskaridia. It can handle fleet deployments and movements of ships, it holds command over the navy in wartime and peace. Its deputy is the Second Sea Lord and Vice Chief of Staff of the Navy. It is also an office that reports to the Minister of Defence and the King. It is a part of the Admiralty and the Defence Council.
