Newlandia, officially the Federal Republic of Newlandia, is a micronation located in Bangkok, Thailand. Newlandia was Declaration of Independence on 1 November 2024, drawing inspiration from Queensland, Molossia, Hervis, Chaichanya, Ratchasima, and other countries in GATM
Etymology
The name Newlandia reflects the idea of a "new land" full of promise. Combining new and land with the formal -ia ending gives it a sense of identity and purpose as a place for a fresh start.
History
Newlandia was officially founded on 1 November 2024, marking a fresh start for its people. This new beginning represented a commitment to creating a modern and unified nation. The City of Queenstown was established as the capital, quickly becoming the center of governance.
From the outset, Newlandia prioritized the establishment of effective governance structures, including the creation of a House of Representatives to ensure that citizens had a voice in their government.
