Guapore (Portuguese: Guaporé), officialy State of Guapore (Portuguese: Estado de Guaporé) was a self-proclaimed sovereign state, more commonly known as a micronation to external observers, located in Brazil, the capital city is Luzia. It was founded on 27 April 2024 by Junior. The country is divided into 3 departments and an autonomous district subordinate to the State, which can intervene or even exchange them if necessary.

Creation

Initially, it was a federal unit of the ValeVRG, it was more autonomous than the others, and probably the most populous, having a population of more than 100 people, over time, it began to act more like an independent country than like an ordinary autonomous state . A few months later, an idea began to emerge to declare independence from ValeVRG, as there was nothing to prevent this, neither in the constitution nor in the government, independence declared on May 21, 2024, independence signed by Junior, governor of the state and later president of the Federal Republic of New Flag.

New Flag

On May 21, 2023, New Flag's declaration of independence is signed, being recognized on the same day by ValeVRG . New Flag had a meteoric start and well above expectations, being very well governed by now president Junior. After independence, it immediately allied itself with ValeVRG and Ikerlàndia, but over time, it began to be abandoned, from then on, it was de facto part of ValeVRG, until on November 30, 2023, the Federal Republic of New Flag falls, on the same day, it is annexed by Colvarasia, the successor of ValeVRG, the former nation that New Flag was part of.

Declaration of the State of Guapore

After the end of the Federal Republic of New Flag on November 30, 2023, the people of the former State remained without a nation for several months, even in 2023, there were thoughts of restoring this country as a monarchy, but without success, until in April 27, 2024, the State of Guapore was proclaimed, and the capital chosen was Lúzia, the third largest city in the new country.

Government

Guapore government is made up of a President, a Chamber of Deputies, and the Federal Senate.

President

The president of Guapore is democratically elected, and has great power in the country, controlling 50% and being Head of Government and State, but his power is limited by the constitution and his declarations and laws have to pass through the Chamber of Deputies and the Federal Senate as a proposal.

Chamber of Deputies

The Chamber of Deputies has a limit of 10 deputies, theoretically they control 25% of the country, and the deputies are democratically elected, and they approve all the laws of the country together with the senate.

Senate

The senate is like the Chamber of Deputies, it passes federal laws, senators are democratically elected, some differences are that you have to be in the nation longer to be a senator, and that the senate also has only 5 seats, and also the senate has 25% of the power in the country.

Culture

Its culture can vary in each city, in the capital, Luzia, for example, people tend to be very quiet and sometimes very religious too, in the Rubidea state, it can be completely the opposite for some people, in East Madeira, as is the biggest city, it doesn't really have a culture.

Since its establishment, Guapore maintains relations with Colvarasia, an empire close to its own, the successor to ValeVRG, Guapore maintains an embassy in Colvarasia and both are part of Valentan Union, as founding members, members of the Mittyzöegaad-Peperonus Sector and Caribbean Belt.

Ikerlàndia

Since the time when Guapore was just a state of ValeVRG, the then Governor of the state, Junior and the King of Ikerlàndia, Iker were good friends. Ikerlàndia was one of the countries that most supported New Flag's independence, and was one of its biggest partners in the newly formed Federal Republic of New Flag, a relationship that continues to this day with Guapore. Today, both are founding members of Valentan Union and members of the Mittyzöegaad-Peperonus Sector, they are great allies of economic partners.

The Valentian Union (VU) is a political and economic organization of which Guapore, along with Ikerlàndia and Colvarasia are founding members. It was created on April 28, 2024, with Guapore joining immediately after its foundation. President Junior is the current President of the Valentian Council.

The Caribbean Beltis a group of micronations made to protect Caribbean and Latin American micronations militarily and diplomatically. It was founded on August 14, 2023, with Guapore joining on April 30, 2024.

Mittyzöegaad-Peperonus Sector

The Mittyzöegaad-Peperonus Sector is a micronational cultural sector founded in 2022. Guapore's predecessor nations, such as Rubidea and New Flag were part of this sector, a fact that led to Guapore entering the sector on May 4, 2024.
