The Eniarkian Worker's Party (EWP), less commonly known as the Worker's Party of Eniarku (WPE), is the ruling and de facto single-party within the Democratic People's Republic of Eniarku the Eniarkian Congress. Despite being the governing body of Eniarku, it is not regarded in the constitution as the de jure governing body. However, the ruling party in Eniarku has control over the State and Federal Government. The party first came to power after a debate on whether the original Republic of Eniarku would become the Empire of Eniarku. The votes were tied, so the vote was not passed. The then-President (now People's President) Aaron Meek proposed the new idea of becoming a single-party Communist state, which was graciously accepted. The motion was then put to a vote and passed unanimously on February 15, 2010. The party then ruthlessly disbanded all opposing parties in the Congress and quickly became the most powerful body in the nation, with its goal of creating a truly single-party Communistic society completed. This still holds true, as the party has not yet loosened its control over the creation of opposing parties.

The Eniarkian Worker's Party, in contrast to the most Communist States, has gathered ideas from many different Socialist and Communist states to form a unique brand of Communism that holds some ideals from all walks of Socialism and Communism. Now that the party has seen this, they now tend to favor their own blend of ideas rather that that of any macronation's. At the end of 2009, the party's membership level was low, but they are hoping to gather more members in the coming months.

Organization

Due to low membership levels since its founding, there has been no immediate need for an enforced organizational structure in the party. There is one however, which follows the ideas of most Leninist political parties, in which the higher organs of the party are elected by those directly below them. Over the course of its existence, the party has worked to keep the structure fairly simple, something that has payed off. There are only seven independent organs of the party. Currently, the major central organs of the organization are as follows:

  • The Presidium, which elects:
  • The Public Relations Offices
  • The Central Administration Offices

Presidium

The Presidium of the Worker's Party is the most powerful organ in the party, having the power to elect the members of the higher positions. The Presidium is also the main decision-making branch of the party, only being scrutinized by the higher committees, which makes it the supreme government authority in Eniarku. Through a series of votes, the Presidium can make any changes it desires to party organization and structure, the basic ideological line of the party, and make amendments to the Constitution.
