The Empire of Danland (Russian: Данладская Империя), colloquially known as Danland, a micronation founded on 30 October 2013. Empire of Danland a member of Union Against Micronational War (UAMW). The capital city is Danburg. The Danland Empire became the successor of the Kingdom of Danland in 2022 and Nicholas III became Emperor of Danland. Since August 2022, Empire run official website.

History

Kingdom of Danland

On 30 October 2013 a decree was signed marking the establishment of the Kingdom of Danland by King Alex the First. Also on 30 October, work began on the Constitution of Danland.

Kingdom of Danland decline

Since 2016, the kingdom has fallen into decline. Became inactive and was excluded from Antarctic Micronational Union.

Empire of Danland

The Danland Empire became the successor of the Kingdom of Danland in 2022. The form of government was changed from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy. The position of the Prime Minister of the Empire of Danlnad, the Government of the Empire of Danlnad and the Parliament of the Empire of Danlnad were introduced. Nicholas III was crowned as Emperor of Danland Nicholas III. In August 2022, the Constitution of the Empire of Danlnad was adopted and published on the official website. The annexation of Bir Tawil was the first expansion of the new Empire of Danland. Due to the annexation of Bir Tawil, Empire of Danland became a transcontinental empire. It also brought social changes in the life of the empire. The Empire of Danland became a secular state.

Geography

Empire of Danland claims the territory of Antarctica, which is not claimed by other participants of the AMU. A plan to apply to the AMU to restore membership. Also, Danland Empire annexed Bir Tawil. Approximate area of about 1'000'000 km2

Politics

The first Parliament of the Empire of Danlnad will be elected in August 2022, 100 congressman and fifty senators.

First parliamentary election

The following parties announced their participation in the elections: Conservative Party of Danland, Liberals of Danland, Socialist Danland, Green Danland.

Results

According to the results of the parliamentary elections, the Conservative Party of Danland won a majority in both chambers. The second main force in Parliament became the Liberals of Danland in both chambers. The Socialist Danland also passed in both chambers, while the Green Danland passed only in the lower house of parliament. According to the election results, Conservative leader George Walter becomes the first Prime Minister of the Danland Empire.
