The Empire of Accia, more commonly known simply as Accia, is a micronation that is located primarily in the region of New England, and other parts of North America. However, the Empire has constituent countries in Europe and Oceania as well.
The Empire of Accia is an absolute monarchy under the rule of the Emperor. The Emperor is currently Caesar Hermanus Augustus, AKA “Emperor Herman Augustus”.
Each constituency of the Empire is headed by a monarch of their own, but the Emperor is the supreme leader over the entire Empire. Nothing gets done without his approval.
The Empire’s legislative and imperial advisory council is the Imperial Senate. The Senate is made up of appointed officials from noble families, etc. Each Senator is appointed by the Emperor and serves at His pleasure.
Etymology
Accia is named after the powerful Roman gens by the same name.
Accia also derives it’s name from the ancient Roman city of Acci.
History
The Empire of Accia was formed in November 2018, but was not active online until 2020.
On November 13, 2018, Caesar Hermanus Augustus was crowned Emperor of Accia.
In October 2020, the Kingdom of Anderberg, Kingdom of Nomania, and the Principality of Auray, joined the Empire.
Politics and Government
The Empire of Accia is primarily an autocracy, but holds certain democratic values and/or checks and balances.
The Emperor is not only the chief executive, but He is also the chief legislator and chief judge.
Directly underneath the Emperor is the High Chancellor. The High Chancellor is the Head of the Senate, and is nominated by the Senate and approved by the Emperor. His job is to advise and guide the Emperor as well as lead the Senate.
The Senate is both the legislative and executive advisory body. The Senate votes on laws, represents the people from all corners of the Empire, and advises the Emperor as His personal state council.
The Judicial branch is split into many local courts in all corners of the Empire.

Military
The Imperial Guard is the chief defense body of the nation. It serves to both protect the Emperor and the Senate, as well as the nation by commanding the militaries of the constituent countries of the Empire.

Accia is made up of forests and mountains, as well as grasslands and rocky terrain.
