Eithys is the capital of the province of Ackermanus, located in the Micronational Empire of Thebes. It was established by King Charles I on November 1, 2019, and is named after Eithan I, or Eithan Ackerman, along with its province.
History
Eithys was established on November 1, 2019, becoming the first city in the sparsely populated province of Ackermanus. For several months, it was the only city in Ackermanus, until the founding of a second city, Portamus. In April 2020, the capital building of Eithys sustained severe damage and collapsed, leaving the city in crisis.
Geography
Natural Features
Eithys sits on a moderately steep hill. Because the city is smaller, and located next to a national park, wildlife, such as squirrels and birds, are found in abundance in Eithys.
Location
Eithys is located on an offshoot of the Great Road, which stretches from Portamus to Ramius. Eithys borders Incolumnis National Park, the second national park in Thebes. Although Eithys is not located on a major route, and therefore does not recieve as many visitors as Portamus, it remains the capital and largest city of Ackermanus.
Politics
The current mayor of Eithys is Tim Edgar. Because Eithys is the capital city of Ackermanus, the mayor of Eithys will always be the governor of Ackermanus.
Population
The current population, according to 2020 census data, is 3. Eithys has seen an increase of 200% in population since 2019. Eithys makes up about 75% of the population of Ackermanus, and about 2.5% of the population of Thebes.
