Edrian Mats

The Edristanian Mats is one of the former currencies of the People's Republic of Edristan.

Usage

Visible in this picture are some One-Mats Notes, visibly of a poor printing quality due to shortages.

Regular Circulation

The Edristanian Mats was barely used, and from the beginning intended as a temporary- or coupon currency, due to its low value (€1 = 5 Mats). Only about 4 Mats (€0,80) Entered Circulation and were actually used. It is however assumed, that about 2 or 3 of the Notes were destroyed, meaning that they are very rare to find, especially in regular circulation.

Exchange for Euros and Edristanian Marks

The Mats is exchangeable for Euros and Edristanian Marks until the end of the Nation, however is not usable in Edristanian Stores, etc.
