The Ducal Rights Decree, officially the Royal Decree Concerning the Rights of Dukes and Duchesses, is the oldest and first royal decree enacted in the Kingdom of Almoa by the Monarchy of Almoa. It guarantees certain additional rights to people who have been granted ducal level peerages over the five ceremonial Almoan counties.
History
The ducal rights decree was the first royal decree to be enacted in Almoa. It was enacted by King Winston I on 12 April 2023.
Terms
The decree guarantees that dukes and duchesses have certain perks included with their peerage including:
- Dismissing their County's Lord Lieutenant and Motioning to the Monarch to Appoint a Replacement
- Being Granted Honorary Colonel-ship of Their County's Regiment
- Patronage of their County's University
- Patronage of a Regional Honour
