The Kingdom of Bezistan, more commonly known as Bezistan, is a micronation in Utah. Bezistan was founded by King Colby on April 5 2020. Bezistan at its foundation declared independence from another micronation named the Land of the Frog Riders also known as L.O.T.F.R. Bezistan is also notable for officially recognizing the citizenship of stuffed animals and dogs.
Etymology
The name of Bezistan was inspired by nations such as Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
History
Bezistan declared it's independence from L.O.T.F.R. on April 5, 2020, following this Bezistan would have several wars against the nation of L.O.T.F.R. and its ally, the Kingdom of Stuffmania. During may of 2021 a civil war occurred between East Bezistan and West Bezistan, East Bezistan supported the continuation of monarchism in Bezistan and West Bezistan supported Bezistan to become a Republic. In a shocking move L.O.T.F.R. and Stuffmania joined the war against West Bezistan. Around one month later the government of West Bezistan collapsed because it was unable to successfully nominate a leader which would end the civil war.
After the war, tensions rose between L.O.T.F.R. which culminated on June 30th when King Colby ordered the execution and capture of the stuffed animal King Kermit XXVI of L.O.T.F.R., later that night a Bezeze assassin beheaded Kermit XXVI and paraded it through the streets of L.O.T.F.R. This would spark the Plush War in which Bezistan fought against L.O.T.F.R. and Stuffmania. By the end of the war Bezistan had unconditionally surrendered and was humiliated by Stuffmania. Soon afterwards Bezistan began preparing for a second Plush War. In late 2022 L.O.T.F.R. slowly began to become more friendly with Bezistan and they both began planning for with Stuffmania together.
In October 2022 L.O.T.F.R. and Bezistan started the Second Plush War against Stuffmania. Soon afterwards L.O.T.F.R. and its stuffed animal King Kerman with Bezeze troops landed in Stuffmania and began the Battle of Stuffmania. As an unexpected surprise Stuffmania recruited troops from the micronation of Lucas City to fight against Bezistan and L.O.T.F.R., this would turn the battle in Stuffmania's favor. During the mess of the battle King Kerman was shot and thrown off a large height, L.O.T.F.R. claims that a bezeze soldier killed Kerman while Bezistan claims that a rogue stuffmanian killed him. This action caused the remaining L.O.T.F.R. troops to switch to the stuffmanian side during the battle. This action lead to Bezistan officially surrendering to all other forces in the Second Plush War.
On May 27th, 2024 the Bezeze Republic of Alistan declared independence from Bezistan and started the Ali Revolution. During the war Alistan was dissolved and was essentially replaced by the Ali-Mirbanan Pirates who continued their fight for freedom. In the end Bezistan and the Ali-Mirbanan Pirates agreed upon peace where the Ali-Mirbanan Pirates were free and Bezistan gave up some of its territory to form the Kingdom of Kermit. Soon after its formation Kermit essentially became a puppet government of Bezistan. Then Kermit went to war with L.O.T.F.R. without any of Bezistan's help and was successfully able to conquer and dissolve L.O.T.F.R. on September 8th, 2024.
Foreign relations
In the past Bezistan has had hostile diplomacy with the Land of the Frog Riders and Stuffmania, although in recent years Bezistan has developed more friendly ties with Stuffmania. Bezistan has had very hostile relations with the Ali-Mirbanan Pirates since its inception, King Colby has also stated that "war could break out at any moment" in September 2024 when referring to the Ali-Mirbanan Pirates. Since 2020 King Colby of Bezistan has had a couple of exchanges with President Kevin Baugh of Molossia. Including the exchange on October 3rd, 2022 when King Colby gave Baugh the title of "Lord Member of the Grand Order of the Desert Deers". The Grand Order of the Desert Deers is an organization founded by King Colby in 2022, its membership title is given to show gratitude to anyone who is kind to the Bezeze government. The only two current members of the Grand Order are King Colby and Kevin Baugh.
