Sugar Water City is the shadow self of Columbia, South Carolina' a place with a lingering inferiority complex, and is the gradable antonym of Rivertown in Stan.
History
The perceived simplicity of Sugar Water City has earned it the nickname Cola Superdeep Boring Hole. It is inhabited chiefly by restless street youth known as the River Rats.
Politics and government
Sugar Water City is ruled by Reign Bo', a boy king modeled after Mark Zuckerberg. Due to the excessive heat of Columbia, a referendum was held to adopt a toponym reflexive of this reality with the Mongolian Mongkhe-tengri-gal ("Eternal Sky Fire") as the front-runner, but the nays narrowly won. Upon discovering Aethodia, Roy G. Bev felt inspired to borrow heavily from it, which may have brought sweeping reforms.
Reign bo'
Reign bo' is the shadow self of Slim Pickens. He emerged as an enemy in the plot of Merger and was reshuffled as an extension of the self for the sake of humility. Healthy self-blame and an acknowledgment that "that could be me" are the beginning of repentance when encountering the sins and shortcomings of overs. Reign bo' is the purveyor of RBF, Reign bo' Full, a soft drink with the slogans "Full-spectrum flavor" and "Puts ya in a fizzy dizzy tizzy." He was preceded by briefly by his father, Roy G. Bev, who may be based on Alberto Fujimori and who oversaw the first gubernatorial tenure of South Carolina after the enactment of the Freedom of Commerce Clause. Sri_Ratchet is Reign bo's online gamer girlfriend with whom things don't work out.
The national symbol is the Carolina dumpsterfire.
Culture
Pleasure and immediate gratification of self are the only values after obedience to Reign bo'. The Fab is a prefabrication facility where much of Sugar Water City's physical infrastructure is made. Makers of various types and appropriate technology are prevalent. Since the advent of the NFT, Sugar Water City has seen a surge in the popularity of True Singles, namely song recordings with only one copy in circulation. Sugar Water City's culture is Myers-Briggs Type ENFP-dominant and has produced a means of sending feelings across the internet known as ENFtp, or Extroverted-Intuitive-Feeling-Perceiving File Transfer Protocol.
