The South islands (officially the Crown Protectorate of the South Islands) a protectorate of Agraria. The protectorate claims a string of uninhabitable rocks in the Pacific Ocean the largest of which being Castle rock. It was established on the 28 June 2024 and has no known population.

Etymology

The name South Islands was chosen when the protectorate was established, then it only claimed two rocks south of the larger rock, Castle Rock. The name was kept when the protectorate claimed castle rock as well.

History

The claim over the rocks by the Agraria was established on the 28 June 2024. It is highly unlikely that the rocks will be visited.

Government

Local Government

No known person lives on the island. However a local government can be established in a protectorate with more autonomy than a district or territory. A commissioner is the head of government, with a state assembly to serve as the legislative branch. The expected commissioner is G.N, who hasn’t officially taken the post.

Military

The Millitary of the South islands is the South Island corps, a branch of the National Agrarian . The branch is a Defence force in charge of the Defence of the south islands. The branch can also deploy to fight for Agraria if requested by the government.

Geography and Climate

The area has an estimated area of around 48,000 square feet, summers in the area usually don’t get over 71°F. Many nesting Birds live and fly around the rocks.
