The Republic of Placinikska, more commonly known as Placinikska, is a micronation in The St Louis Area, specifically in the county and parts of south city. It was Formed when the leaders of The Kingdom of Placinikska declared their independence from the Empire Of Eldonia On March 28th 2024. In Plaćinikska there is a Chancellor (James Bauer), Vice Chancellor (Austin Gaffney), Prime Minister (Carsten Hillbert), and a Senate.

Etymology

The Word "Plaćinikska" comes from the Bosnian word "Plaćenik" meaning mercenary. This makes the word Plaćinikska quite literally means "land of mercenaries".

History

Placinikska was originally a kingdom within the Eldonian empire until March 28th 2024 when it declared its independence as The Democratic People's Republic of Plaćinikska. They became allies with several nations like Theola and Lobster Island. Eldonia declared war on the new republic on March 29th which officially started the independence war. In late April Placinikska defeated Eldonia at the battle of Crestwood and that determined that they had won the war and got their independence. After the war was over, Placinikska switched to a capitalist government to ensure more freedom for its citizens. To ensure peace in the St. Louis area, Eldonia and Plaćinikska created the St. Louis organization of Micronations and officially became allies. Today plaćinikska works on being a stable and secure country and normalizing relations in the micronation world.

Politics

As stated earlier, The Republic uses a democratic system. The Chancellor is the highest ranked politician and works as the commander-in-chief of Placinikska. He can also request certain decisions to be made to The Senate. The Vice Chancellor works as an advisor and second in command to the Chancellor. In some cases the Vice is the most respected and well trusted by the Chancellor. The Prime Minister works as a representative of Placinikska in foreign affairs and a third in command to the Chancellor. The Senate is a group of 7 politicians that represent each oblast. When an important decision for the nation needs to be made (Example: Declaring War) senate will vote on whether it shoulod be done or not. Senate can also vote on whether a law be passed or not.

Democratic People's Republic Of Plaćinikska

The Democratic People's Republic of Plaćinikska was the name of the first iteration of the republic. As stated before it was founded March 28th 2024 and used a communist government. No one in Placinikska liked communism but Eldonia hated it so using the system was really more of a way to rebel against the empire. This soon ended on April 28th 2024 when at the end of the battle of Crestwood, the chancellor flew a new capitalist flag and officially declared the republic a capitalist nation.

Law and order

One judge is elected each year to sort out all the criminals in the republic. The judge decides whether to punish the criminal or not and how to punish them. In court you are allowed to have a lawyer to defend yourself. A jury is included aswell.

Military Branches

The Armed Forces of Placinikska consist of The Infantry (Army), Airforce, Navy, Border Guard, and Intelligence. The Infantry is mostly forces that fight on the ground, they wear Strictarn camo jackets and M-56 Helmets and are notorious for using gel gun blasters to fight the enemy. The airforce is mostly just attack drones that travel at high speeds and can reveal the location of an enemy's base or use blitzkrieg tactics to rush the enemy. The Navy consists of large RC Boats that purposefully crash into the enemy's boats and explode on impact. The Border Guard is the first line of defense for the republic, they stand at mmiiary checkpoints at the border and decide what goes in and out of Placinikska to insure the saftey of the nation. The Placinik Intelligence works mostly with hackers and spies and finds ways to "attack the enemy within itself."

Placinikska Recognizes and is recognized by many nations. Placinikska likes to stay on good terms with everyone unless the foreign nation insults first. Provided below is an example of a list of relations with other nations and organizations.
