The Republic of Bradenland, more commonly known as Bradenland, is a micronation in {the United States of America}. Originally founded in 2015 by the then six-year-old president, it was briefly put on hold during COVID-19, after which it was relaunched.

The third paragraph should give an overview of the nation's relation to the broader micronational movement and the nation's foreign policy.

Etymology

The nation's name is a compound of Braden, the name of the founder, and land, which comes from OE land, which comes from Proto-West Germanic *land, which comes from Proto-Germanic *landą, which comes from PIE *lendʰ.

History

Bradenland was first occupied by the Khisiruthu civilization (English: Land of the sons of the Sun) which held power for nearly three thousand years.

In 2015, Ankhtawy de Jacques founded the Republic of Bradenland. Initially the so-called 'nation' was a tongue-in-cheek 'rebellion' against primary school authorities.

Politics and government

Insert a brief description of your nation's government, its parts, and their functions.

Early government

If your nation had any previous systems of government, explain them here, otherwise, you do not need this section.

President

Is the primary executive power of Bradenland. According to the Constitution of the Ninth, I Amendment I-IV section defines the powers of the president as the main executive of Bradenland, elected by the people every two years starting 6th September 2024. He or she is allowed to declare wars in time of need, issue PEO (Presidential Executive Order), and veto laws in order to balance power, as well as appoint judges.

Senate

A legislative house of 10 members that is in charge of passing laws.

Senate Chairman

Is in charge of presiding over the Senate. The office is currently occupied by the President. I Amendment V-VIII section of the Consitution of the Ninth states the powers of the Chairman as the main legislative of Bradenland, elected by the people every year starting 6th September 2023. He or she is allowed to break a tie in the ratifcation of a law, as well as the authority that allows an override of a veto.

Political parties

Political parties in Bradenland are often used to gain legitimacy or to show which side you are on. If they are found to be too corrupt, the Senate can bar them from appearing on the ballot.

Administrative regions

Explain your nation's claim system, and the various types of constituencies your nation may have, for example, the difference between a district and a territory. It is preferred that you do not discuss each constituency in this section. Instead, the names of each constituency in the table should be linked to their own separate articles. You can add and remove columns as you wish, but generally, include fields for the flags (which should be kept small, at most 100px wide (less if more rows listed) and have a border), name, and important fields such as area, population, governor and/or representative (or equivalent position). You do not need to include a column for a seal, flag, or coat of arms for each constituency if it they do not have one.
