Forest Christopher Ferrell (born 26 March 2010) is a micronationalist and a Ridgelantic politician who is currently serving as the first President of the Sovereign State of Ridgeland^[1].

Born in March 2010, Ferrell was formally diagnosed with autism at the age of two and spent most of his early life in online school and developmental therapy. Approaching adolescence, he developed an interest in politics and micronationalism. He had a variety of attempts to create a micronation, the most notable being a roleplay nation project known as Noobstonia, he also attempted to found a “Republic of Piedmontia”, which he eventually gave up on. During his middle school days, multiple classmates called him “King Forest” after a practical joke in the school cafeteria in which he declared himself king of the middle school. He then promptly asked to be called “President Forest” instead.

On 13 November 2022, Forest C. F. finally formally quit his roleplay nation after a long period of inactivity and proclaimed the Sovereign State of Ridgeland.^[2]. Calling on an election, he was elected as the first President of Ridgeland^[3]. Forest C. F. served in multiple wars as the commander-in-chief of the Sovereign State of Ridgeland, and established diplomacy with multiple micronations. Since assuming the presidency, he has become one of the most famous Ridgelantic political figures.

Early life

Forest C. F. was born on 26 March 2010 to the Ferrell family, along with two other triplets. Unlike his older siblings, he was diagnosed with autism at the age of two. After first grade, he was enrolled in the North Carolina Virtual Academy due to behavioral misconduct at his elementary school. Around this time, he gained an interest in micronationalism, often drawing fictional countries on paper maps and creating various micronational projects (although he never used the term micronation until later). One of the most notable of these projects included Noobstonia, a "roleplay nation".

Ferrell assumed the leadership of Ridgeland on 13 November 2022 after the Ridgelantic Declaration of Sovereignty and an impromptu vote decided him as leader of the Ridgelantic government.
