The Empire of Caoiva, more commonly known as just Caoiva, is a micronation founded on July 27, 2017. It has been ruled since then by Emperor Callahan I.

History

Caoiva was founded in July 2017 by Emperor Callahan I. Until March 2024, the nation was largely disconnected from the online intermicronational community. In March 2024, the Decree for the Establishment of Online Presence of the Empire was handed down by Emperor Callahan, leading to the creation of a Google Account and Microwiki page.

On March 24, 2024, the Empire submitted an application to join the League of Independent Nations to further improve relations with the online intermicronational community.

Politics and government

The Emperor is an absolute monarchy with the Emperor holding absolute power. The Emperor rules via decrees.

Economy

The Empire mainly de facto uses the US Dollar, but there is no law saying that it has to be used and any currency could theoretically be used.

Culture

The Empire has no official holidays, but religious and cultural holidays such as Christmas or Halloween are celebrated by citizens of the Empire.
