Edward of Veridiania was the King of Veridiania. He is the 2nd monarch of Veridiania and the Only son of Prince Trevor and Elizabeth, Duchess of Oakwood. His rule was marked by efforts toward modernization and reform. He was Acceded to the Throne, in 2024 Following His former Majesty Abdication.
Personal Life
Edward, the only son of Prince Trevor, Duke of Oakwood and Elizabeth, Duchess of Oakwood, grew up in Veridiania's countryside. He was an avid learner, excelling in academics and music. His travels broadened his perspective, while his empathy and humility endeared him to the common folk. Edward was known for his charitable work and close family bonds, Edward's life before kingship was marked by a deep commitment to his people and a dedication to improving Veridiania.
Accession
On 20 July 2024, The Council of Accession elected Prince Edward as second King of Veridiania before Frederick I's abdication. On 24 July 2024, Frederick I abdicated the throne, and Edward became King of Veridiania. The Proclamation Ceremony was held on 25 July 2024 at Elizabeth Palace.
