President Daniel R. Gomez (Born in 2009), who also goes by a multitude of names, is a Dostykstani politician and Micronationalist. President Daniel R. Gomez has served in political offices of a multitude of nations with his most commonly known position being the Incumbent President of the Republic of Dostykstan. Over his micronational career, Daniel R. Gomez has seen the opening of the Republic of Dostykstan from it's isolationist period, a multitude of civil conflicts both foreign and domestic, and had even seen a "terror attack" on Dostykstani soil.
Micronational Career
Although Daniel R. Gomez joined the micronational community in 2022, his experience with micronations and micronationalism can be traced as far back as mid 2017, where he created a fictional nation called Dupiria. In more recent years Daniel R. Gomez has become much more serious and committed to micronationalism with serving in a multitude of political offices throughout a multitude of nations. Daniel R. Gomez's most commonly known political affiliation is with the Republic of Dostykstan where he currently serves as the 6th President.
Democratic Republic of Dupiria
Sometime in mid 2017, Daniel R. Gomez founded a fictional nation then only known as "Dupiria". Daniel R. Gomez worked on Dupiria as a hobby and a passion project with him claiming territory around the entire city of Houston despite him not living there but only being born there. As time went on Daniel R. Gomez began expanding the claims of Dupiria with claimed territories spanning across east Texas, southern Oklahoma, southwest Arkansas, and western Louisiana. Daniel R. Gomez continued to work on Dupiria for about a year until he lost interest and motivation in the nation and project sometime in mid to late 2018.
Later in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic Daniel R. Gomez rediscovered media related to Dupiria. Daniel R. Gomez would then decide to start working on Dupiria once again but with quite a few changes. Daniel R. Gomez would then decide to formalise parts of Dupiria making Dupiria the "Democratic Republic of Dupiria". While reworking parts of the Democratic Republic of Dupiria, Daniel R. Gomez found the claims in Houston unrealistic. Because of this Daniel R. Gomez created a fictional map in which the northern parts of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge were elevated enough out of the water to form large islands. Daniel R. Gomez would go on to work on the Democratic Republic of Dupiria until 2021 when quarantine ended and he moved.
Republic of Dostykstan
Sometime in September 2021, Daniel R. Gomez moved to Kazakhstan where he resided in a gated community of families working in the local Oil Industry. Daniel R. Gomez eventually helped declare the gated community's independence under the name of the Republic of Dostykstan. Then throughout Dostykstan's history Daniel R. Gomez served in multiple political positions including Vice President and President and he saw substantial events including Coups, a Civil war, and even a Terror attack.
Founding
Eventually after a couple of months of living in a gated community, Daniel R. Gomez would see another spark of Micronationalism with him and a few others founding a body known as the "Carvieniel Council". Under the lead of Daniel R. Gomez the Carvieniel Council would point out that the community's ethnic, linguistic and cultural differences from the rest of Kazakhstan justified their will for independence and sovereignty. On top of this the gated community already had a secure border fence patrolled by security guards and a secure entrance checkpoint which already checked passports prior to any will for independence. Along with these things the community was very self sufficient with there even being a restaurant and education system. All these factors eventually caused the Carvieniel Council to declare the independence of the Republic of Dostykstan on February 18th 2022.
Coups and Overthrowals
As the Republic of Dostykstan started off with a game like system where people could be "Assassinated" by getting shot 3 times with a Nerf Gun. Because of this, the Republic of Dostykstan suffered mass Political unrest and Conflict following the April 18th Elections of 2022. With many people now looking to overthrow and "silence" certain politicians, they would look to find Nerf Guns. This is where Daniel R. Gomez would step in as he had the largest armoury of Nerf Guns causing anyone supplied by Daniel R. Gomez to have a massive advantage in the field. This gave Daniel R. Gomez quite a bit of power, and he would eventually join and supply an opposing group to the ruling president and party. This eventually led to the Overthrowal of the first President of Dostykstan.
Rise to Power
Following the Overthrowal of the first President of Dostykstan, the second President, Chase Caylor, would appoint Daniel R. Gomez as a political adviser. Daniel R. Gomez would at first stay staunchly loyal to Chase, but after a few weeks Daniel R. Gomez began distancing himself from the government. Eventually Chase Caylor would be overthrown with Vice President Carson Zayouna coming into power. Carson would then appoint Daniel R. Gomez as the new Vice President. After a few months with Carson stepping down and then returning as the fifth President, the summer would come around where many politicians would end up moving. One of these politicians would be Carson Zayouna and he would step down from office, but as no one else voiced their intent to run, Daniel R. Gomez would automatically step up and become sixth President of Dostykstan.
