The Chernovac Socialist Republic is a micronation located in the West Midlands of England, and is a satellite state of the Stravonskan Soviet Republic. Chernovac was established on February 26th 2022 following Operation Hornigold, a military operation conducted by Stravonska shorlty after the Russian Invasion of Ukraine. The reason for the operation was to occupy the Eastern Road that is located next to the Stravonskan Mainland and set up a buffer state to protect Stravonska's eastern border from a potential British invasion due to the war in Ukraine.

Being a satellite state, Chernovac has no government of it's own and is directly governed by the Stravonskan Central Assembly in Stravinsky, the Stravonskan Capital. Chernovac is also a member of the European League of Micronations and MCSL (Micronational Communist Socialist League), an organisation established by the Stravonskan Soviet Republic, with the aim of uniting leftist Micronations across the globe. The MCSL currently has 17 member states.
