The Deputy Chief Hamster of the State of Hamsterland is a political position in the State of Hamsterland and serves as the ceremonial head of government and Deputy to the Chief Hamster. The office is currently held by Benny. According to the constitution, the Deputy Chief Hamster shall serve as the ceremonial head of government and, at least on paper, be the source of the governments executive powers. The Deputy has the job of officially nominate government secretaries on behalf of the Chief of Government elect following elections.
