The Department of State, commonly called the State Department or the DOS, is responsible for promoting the interests of the Commonwealth of Dracul overseas, and was founded on the 25th September 2017 as one of the original departments of the Commonwealth of Dracul.
Head of the Department of State is Secretary of State of Dracul, commonly abbreviated to "Secretary" (currently Valeriano Anibarro).
Department of State Revision
January 12, 2019, the Department of Foreign Affairs is dissolved and replaced with the Department of State, with Secretary of State Tyler Hibler as the second Secretary under that Department. On this date, Dracul also becomes a member of the I.C.A.N. Security Council, with Ambassador Valeriano Anibarro as the first Dracul Ambassador to I.C.A.N., who later became Dracul's first Deputy Secretary of State.
