The Crown Prince of Yalta is the title given to the heir apparent to the Yaltan Throne. After the monarch, the crown prince is the most senior royal.

History

The title of crown prince was formally established on 30 May 2023 by the Succession Decree.

Titles and Role

The title is neither automatically granted nor heritable - it merges with the Crown when its holder eventually accedes to the throne, or reverts to the Crown if its holder predeceases the current monarch, leaving the sovereign free to grant it to the new heir apparent (such as the late prince's son or brother). The monarch grants the title to their heir apparent.

There are no roles officially given to the crown prince, but the holder of the title may carry out ceremonial duties or have certain duties delegated to them by the monarch.
