The Civil Code of Kamore (sometimes nicknamed the Williamite code) was signed on the 25th of January 2023 by William Mevd. It included rights and duties regarding marriage, death and civil rights and also introduced strict rule of law and obligated magistrates to act upon proof and righteousness. One of the most important things which were mentioned variously throughout the code was the job of local governments to keep track of marriages, crimes and death. The main purpose of this code was to organize society better and keep records of Kamorese citizens' marriages, divorces, crimes and deaths.
The civil code was first idealised in November 2022, but writing did not begin until December of that same year. When it was finally finished in early 2023, it was made up of nine pages. Certainly not long, but it was as William put it, "Enough to organize an orderly society through bureaucracy."
