The Federal Chancellor of the United Federation of the Terra Excelsior Republic, also known as the Chancellor of the Republic, or the Chancellor, is the head of government of Excelsior and the most senior official of the Excelsioran government. The Chancellor is directly elected on 1 May yearly in a two-round system. Nicolas Caiazzo is the incumbent holder of the office and has served as Chancellor since Excelsior's foundation on 27 August 2020.

The Chancellor holds the executive power of the Interior Government of Excelsior and leads the Executive Branch of the Government of Excelsior. The Chancellor directly appoints Secretaries to lead government departments and has the power to establish or abolish government departments at any time. The Chancellor presides over the Parliament of Excelsior along with the Speaker of Parliament as the Dean of Parliament. The Chancellor is ultimately responsible for all policy decisions of the Excelsioran Government, and has the power to issue 15 executive orders per term.

The Chancellor often works with the President of Excelsior on government policy.
