Early life
Calvin was born in west London on the 20th of July 2003. Descended from the Rurikid Russian family and 3 times great nephew of pGeorge His father is a businessman and his mother, the princess royal, an artist. He attended preparatory school before going onto a catholic boys school in ealing, west London.
Founding of Gosland
Gosland was founded in October 2015, as a grand duchy designed to one day inhabit Antarctica and west Bir Tawil. He was coronated as his royal highness the grand Duke Calvin Von Gosling days later after writing a constitution and creating a flag. In 2019, due to the motion of the privy council, the nation became isolationist, virtually becoming inactive, which included selling the Instagram account. On the 17th of June 2023 Gosland was revived. It is ruled from the dukes bedroom which acts as the embassy in London, and from where the government in exile is held.
Personal life
the grand Duke has a brother who is the current crown prince, regularly having relations with other micro-national leaders. He has also been reported to have been in a relationship during 2022. He currently attends St Mary’s university in London, studying politics.
