Blake (7 October 2010 – 19 January 2021), also known as Blakey and Blakey Bob, was a ten year old Greyhound and one of two dogs owned by Daniel Hamilton and his family, with their other dog being Tilly.
Blake had a rough early life; according to Daniel, he was presumably born to race and ditched because he was too slow for racing. According to Daniel, Blake was taken in by a greyhound rehoming group where it is assumed that his life was most likely not any better during the duration of his stay up until his adoption.
Blake passed away on 19 January 2021 at the home of the Roscoe family, where he was euthanized due to worsening osteosarcoma, a form of cancer commonly found in greyhounds.
