The Attorney General of Aumarea is the chief legal advisor to the President of Aumarea and Federal Government of Aumarea. The attorney general is the leader of the Office of the Attorney General, a sub-office of the Department of Justice.
Role
The attorney general is also the chief legal adviser of the presidency and their administration, and has the primary role of advising the federal government on any legal repercussions of their actions, either orally at meetings or in writing. As well as the federal government as a whole, they also advise individual departments. They report to the Justice Department.
Appointment
The attorney general, as a sub-office in the Department of Justice, is nominated by the justice minister. The officeholder is formally appointed by the President of Aumarea on the advise and consent of the senate.
