The Armed Forces of Tropicana are the primary defence forces of the Democratic Republic of Tropicana.
History
The armed forces were established by Lucas de Tropicana on 13 May 2022. They are the oldest defence services within Tropicana.
Personnel
Officers
Commissioned Officers are service personnel who have received a commission from the President of Tropicana. All officers are addressed by enlistees as sir or ma'am, and are typically saluted by non-commissioned personnel out of respect.
Enlisted
Enlisted personnel typically make up the bulk of the members of the service branches. They take on specialised roles within their branches.
Branches
The armed forces are split into three branches:
- Tropicanan Army
- Tropicanan Air Defence Force
- Tropicanan Border Force
Each branch takes on a specialised role in defending the nation.
Leadership
The armed forces are lead by the Commander-in-Chief, an office held by the President of Tropicana, and the Chief of Defence Staff. Each branch also has its own designated chief of staff who also sit on the Chiefs of Staff Committee.
