The Imperial Armed Forces of Econia (Swedish: Kejserliga Försvarsmakten) is the institution responsible for the defence of the Imperial State of Econia and the protection of the nations interests. It consists of 3 branches: The Imperial Army, Naval Forces and Air Force. In peace time the Armed Forces are responsible for ceremonial duties and forming the Sovereigns Guard, the Imperial Sovereigns ceremonial protection force. As Commander-in-Chief the Imperial Sovereign leads the Armed Forces and holds the highest rank within each of it's branches. They are assisted in this role by the Minister of Defense and the advisory Defence Council.
