Amy Augusta (née Wilde) is a former micronationalist, Cascadian politician and feminist activist. A low-key player in Cascadian politics she served in other Ministries including Education, State Affairs, and Health and Safety. She has served as an executive in the Socialist Party and where she was a high-ranking member. In August 2019, she formed the Feminist Workers Union, an independent labor union that seeks to support the working class and empower working women. She resigned as General Secretary in late 2020, succeeded by Josh Graceson as acting leader, and then by Titania Smith. Augusta was also an honorary commissioned officer in the Cascadian Army with the rank of Generalissima of the Republic. After a nasty and sometimes public separation and divorce from Titania Smith, Augusta drifted further from the high ranking politics of Cascadia eventually being forced into exhile and was stripped of any honors by her ex-wife's regime.
Political Views
Augusta identifies as a feminist and more broadly a socialist. She is opposed to the US treatment of immigrants and is a supporter of alternative, more humane measures. While she does not condone violence, she strongly opposes fascist elements she observes creeping into society. Augusta identifies as Wiccan and is an ardent environmentalist. During her marriage, she was one of Smith's most vocal supporters but following their separation and divorce became one of her most critical opponents.
