Ahmad Marhaen is an Indonesian micronationalist that is active in numerous micronations. Marhaen is the founder and current president of Marhaenia, chairman of the People's Party of Workers and Peasants, and also known as the fifth chair of the Southeast Asian Micronational Association.
Personal life
Born in 2008, Marhaen is the only child in his family, living a relatively simple life in a small village in Gunungkidul. Upon reaching fourth grade in elementary school, his parents divorced, and he followed his mother who married a widower. He lived in South Sumatra until his teenage years, attending junior high school there. After graduating from junior high school, he moved to Central Java to attend senior high school, which required him to leave his mother and stepfather in Sumatra. It was during this time that Marhaen developed an interest in micronationalism.
