The 2022 Mensisch Hertog election occurred from 13 to 16 April, and consisted of 2 rounds. Because it was held to replace him, incumbent Hertog Sean Dunkerque could not run. Charles Madgett, President of New Waterloo was elected Hertog-designate, winning the Counties of Arnhem, Hellendoorn, and New Waterloo. Jacobs came in second, winning the votes from Wickham and New Roscam. Both candidates won in their home counties.
