The handover ceremony of Sauveuse in 2020 officially marked the transfer of sovereignty over Sauveuse from the Sauveuse Republic to the Free Socialist State of Paloma. It was broadcasted live with the ceremony commencing on the night of 25 March 2020 and finishing on the morning of 26 March 2020. The ceremony was held on discord and was to be publicly viewed on a server for the handover. The event was seen as the end of the Sauveuse Republic.
