History
The 1st Battalion was founded on the 16th of March 2020 with the foundation of the Grenadier Guards of Wellmoore. It is the oldest battalion in the Wellmoorean Army.

The 1st Battalion consists of the following companies:
- King's Colour Troop (not to be confused with the King's Colour Squadron in the RWAF)
Duties
The 1st Battalion's sole duty is the ceremonial duty of protecting the Monarch of Wellmoore and royal palaces.
The 1st Battalion also engage in events such as Changing of the Guard, when the Grenadiers are going on or coming off guard duty, and the Trooping of the Colour.
