The Republic of Westerly, more commonly known as Westerly, is a micronation in North America. The nation was formed on November 11, 2021 a national holiday. The Nation is comprised of 3 provinces, Westerly City, Mountainous Territory, and Pacific Westerly. The former two are located on the eastern edge of the rocky mountains, while the latter is located in Hawaii.
The nation has a representative democracy, meaning that each province has its own representative, who then elect the president.
The nation was founded with the assistance of the Republic of Surdam. The Nation was founded in Pacific Westerly, now the site of a national monument.
Etymology
Westerly was named after a creek nearby it, this creek is also the largest running water source in Westerly.
History

The government of Westerly is a representative democracy. A representative from each province is elected, who then decides the president.

The weather in the provinces varies. In Mountainous Territory, The winters are very cold and summers are mild. In Westerly City, winters are cold and summers are hot. In Pacific Westerly, weather is mild in general.
