The dollar name came from the Australian dollar.

On 30 April 2015, James-Robert Knight created the idea for a currency using 1.25 litre water bottles as a reserve and set about creating it.

The currency is worth AU$0.01 per unit, with the value being derived from the price of the 1.25 litre water bottles.

The currency has full legal status in Vyktory, alongside the Australian dollar.
