United Atlantic (sometimes called UA) is a major political party in the Atlantic Commonwealth. It is one of the largest political parties in the Commonwealth, boasting four members and one seat (or 20%) in the Atlantic Executive Council.
The party as founded in January 2016 as a political vehicle for President Henry Twain, who sought to found a Libertarian party to combat the ideological friction between him and other members of the Council. Thus, the party supports the policies of the current administration. The party grew especially large in Cambridge, where United Atlantic claimed to have the entire population registered as members. President Twain remains leader of the party.
The party defines itself as fiscally conservative and socially liberal, and embraces Austrian economic theory. In 2016, the party declared Liberalism as its official ideology.
