The Kingdom of Tyrillym, colloquially referred to as Tyrillym, is a micronation situated within the American states of Ohio, Indiana, Massachusetts, New York, Georgia, Texas, Arizona, and South Carolina. Tyrillym is comprised of eight governorates, fifteen territories and one protectorate. Tyrillym's metropolitan area is located in Ohio with several other territories situated across North America. Tyrillym was declared independent at 12:00 AM on the morning of 19 May 2024 as per the Edict of Shatyril and officially succeeded the Empire of Shahawkia.
While originally established as an Empire, Stephen I executively regressed the Empire into a Kingdom. Following the Edict of Shatyril, all former Kingdoms, Archduchies, Grand Duchies, Duchies, Principalities, and Colonies previously under Shahawkian rule, if not abandoned, were categorized into either a governorate, territory or protectorate. Tyrillym is a unitary semi-constitutional monarchy.
Tyrillym is the only successor to the Empire of Shahawkia. Tyrillym views itself as a sovereign state, despite being viewed by external observers as a micronation. Inheriting Shahawkia's military prowess and former exertion of power across North America, Tyrillym considers itself the strongest micronation within Cyrylia, as well as a local micronational superpower. Tyrillym only borders the United States of America (as most of its territories are landlocked by the United States), and Cactus Nation in the Protectorate of Tharatis. Tyrillym, despite being largely an English-speaking nation, culturally resembles a Hellenic nation.
Etymology
The Edict of Shatyril provided for the dissolving of the Empire of Shahawkia, in the edict, a new Empire was created known as the Empire of Tyrillym, which hours later would be changed to the Kingdom of Tyrillym. Tyrillym was originally the name of the capital city of Shahawkia, which itself got its name from the Shahawkian word for "beacon of hope" as well as its similarity to the plant Trillium which grows in the western region of metropolitan Tyrillym. The central tree in the City of Tyrillym (now Illym) was also known as Mother Tyrillym.
Tyrillym's greater flag is comprised up of five separate colors. The blue on the left represents Tyrillym's past and how it has shaped Tyrillym in modern day, the three stars also go along with this, as the upper star represents the Battle of Wind Hill, the lower star represents the Battle of Silver Path, and the central, larger star represents the Battle of Uria'ash and the victory it brought. Overall, the stars represent Tyrillym's victories in the Urianic War. The right side of the flag is meant to depict a view from a forest out into a vast plain with trees above, which a lot of Tyrillian land is. This is also symbolic, as the white lines between them are meant to divide them into their own respective areas, which also symbolizes freedom and equality.
Tyrillym's civil flag is comprised up of four colors. The yellow represents solidarity and perseverance, and the single star with the lambda in the center represents unity and prosperity.
Tyrillym's lesser flag is comprised up of four colors representing the four conflicts in the Urianic War, as do the four stars. The blue represents egality and freedom, and the black, together with the white cross and blue represents equal division and freedom. The blue, teal, and white also represent the colors of winter.
History
Pre-Shahawkian Era
Prior to the creation of the United States, what is now under Tyrillian claim was settled in by Hopewell cultures around 1500 B.C. Around 900 A.D., Mississippian tribes inhabited metropolitan Tyrillym. Tyrillym was continuously inhabited by many different groups of native Americans and hunter-gatherers in the early 15th and 16th centuries, namely the Wyandot, Shawnee, Delaware, Erie, Lenape, Chippewa, Mingo, and many other Native American tribes. European settlers, colonists and explorers came to the Americas in the late 16th and 17th centuries. In the late 1600s, metropolitan Tyrillym was under control of the Iroquois tribe until in the early 1700s, the French gained possession of Ohio. Following the French and Indian War, the British gained control of Ohio and part of the modern day midwestern United States. In the late 1700s, the United States rebelled against the British and Ohio was freed from British rule. In 1803, Ohio was granted statehood where it still remains to this day. In 2019, Eagle tribe was founded in central Ohio where it rebelled against the United States. Through many years of reform, Eagle tribe transitioned into the Empire of Shahawkia, which it itself was succeeded by the Kingdom of Tyrillym.
Shahawkian Era
For the sake of ease of reading, the state that was Shahawkia will be referred to as Shahawkia, but for context of the name at the time, it may be referred to as its name at the time.
During its founding, Shahawkia established itself as a tribe. Shahawkia was established on 12 March 2019 as Eagle Tribe. The Shahawkian tribal era lasted from March 2019 to March 2022. Early into its establishment, Shahawkia would establish ties with a neighboring tribal state, the Redwood Tribe until conflict between the two nations began over overlapping claims to Wind Hill. Shahawkia was established in proximity of a school playground along with the Redwood Tribe. The Redwood Tribe began inhabiting the now Wind Hill area at the same time as Shahawkian settlers did. As Shahawkia progressed, further territories were established and claimed. Due to overlapping claims over Wind Hill, the alliance formed between the Eagle Tribe and Redwood Tribe was broken and the Urianic War began. Three main battles occurred during the Urianic War, or the Redwood-Shahawkian War; the Battle of Wind Hill, the Battle of Silver Path, and the Battle of Uria'ash occurred, being the prime conflicts to occur during the war.
The Battle of Wind Hill was the first primary conflict of the Urianic war, occurring sometime in March 2019, tensions rose along the Shahawkian and Redwood border at Wind Hill. Both sides had overlapping claims which raised tension, and both sides believed their ownership of the hill to be valid. Both sides ascended the hill to discuss and come to an agreement. Redwoods began using derogatory language towards Shahawkians which resulted in verbal conflict. Eventually Redwoods would descend the hill back onto their own claimed territory. Shahawkian soldiers marched on Wind Hill, taking it, and General Blutigefaust[a] charged on the retreating Redwood soldiers, injuring around 3. Shahawkian General Blutigefaust[a] was fired from his position for his 'brutal' actions in battle. Redwood soldiers retreated and a successful final offensive would be the first Shahawkian victory of the war. The resulting events from the battle caused Redwood government officials to enact a plan to frame Stephen I which proved successful, and Stephen would face punishment from the school's administration, which would prompt a Shahawkian rebuttal which would become the Great Shahawkian Raid, which effectively rose tensions and saw the war continue. Following the Battle of Wind Hill, Eagle Tribe would change its name[b] to Dorchester Tribe to mask its identity from the school's administration.
Following the false-framing of the Emperor, Stephen I would initiate the Great Shahawkian Raid. Shahawkian forces would enter Redwood territory and destroy their unnamed settlement[c] and seize supply areas of stone and wood, which would impair the morale of Redwood soldiers and the force of the Redwood army. The aftermath of the Great Shahawkian Raid saw Redwood oligarchs attempt another framing, however, this was to no avail and the school's administration could not carry out punishment due to lack of evidence.
Several border skirmishes occurred which led up to a Redwood surprise-invasion which would be known as the Battle of Silver Path, which was quickly countered by Shahawkian forces. The key Shahawkian city of Uria was held off fiercely, and Redwood soldiers were then pushed out of Shahawkian Uria'ash. Shahawkian soldiers crossed the border and kept pushing towards the Redwood's recovering unnamed settlement.[c] Shahawkians pushed a constant offensive and the Redwoods would hold the line while others gathered important resources and fled their settlement.[c] Redwood soldiers would climb over a fence to escape, and fled, signifying the second victory of the Urianic war and ending the second primary conflict of the war. Uria'ash was conquered by Shahawkians entirely, and in an attempt to verify Redwood tribe was no longer active, Shahawkians conducted several patrols around the proximity to verify their assumption. Shahawkians found that the Redwood army had fled east past the fence to the Eastern fields to establish a new settlement which also was given no name. Stephen I was informed of the new settlement and organized the Shahawkian army and marched east.
2 separate divisions of the Shahawkian Blue army entered the Redwood's new settlement in the North and moved South towards the remaining soldiers which formed a human shield wall in defense of the Oligarchs. Upon the imminence of the Shahawkian army, many Redwood soldiers fled and left the tribe. Shahawkian forces continued south. The retreating Redwood army finally turned to face the Shahawkian offensive. Few were injured in the huge tribal clash, and eventually, a Redwood oligarch took off their white jacket and mounted it to a tree branch signifying the Redwood surrender. The Redwood human shield wall broke and Redwoods fled in all different directions. A final search was conducted and it was confirmed that the Redwood tribe had entirely broken up. The Redwoods had suffered the final defeat of the war which resulted in Shahawkia invading the Eastern fields, and signifying that the Urianic war ended that day with a final conversation between Stephen I and the head Redwood Oligarch, Ivah P., who, at the time, tried to justify the continued existence of a glorified Redwood state, however the claims were irrational and the tribe had entirely been abandoned by all former citizens.
The following day, many Redwoods returned to their former land, Uria. Few Shahawkians were there and were unprepared for the attack they had suspected, however, the group came for peace negotiations. They announced their break-away from Redwood tribe and declared they were the Grasunday tribe. Shahawkians and Grasundays co-existed in harmony in Uria'ash. Shahawkians ceded Grasunday Tribe a southern strip of land south of Uria, however, this was later reverted when Shahawkia invaded Grasunday tribe in early 2022.
After the War of 2019, Shahawkia greatly expanded its territorial influence. A rapid spike in population growth occurred after Emperor Stephen I moved out of elementary school. Around the end of 2019, the Red Fox Tribe split off from the Grasunday Tribe as the second pan-Redwood successor state. The Red Fox Tribe expanded its territories closer to Shahawkia which was seen as a larger political threat. Multiple border conflicts occurred after its expansion. Eventually, a peace agreement was made between all belligerents, ending all conflict and bringing Shahawkia into a period of peace.
First Dorchesterian Golden Age
In early 2020, the COVID-19 Pandemic hit the United States, which put Shahawkia's population into quarantine. During the pandemic, Shahawkia would adopt its first language besides English, Old Dorchesterian, which became known as the lingual revolution. A new discovery of uninhabited land would become the now modern Kingdom of Lowenand, which was formerly a partition between Shahawkia, Marauders Tribe, and a Shahawkian Puppet-Police State known as The Order of the Mask, or Orveria. Lowenand, for the majority of its existence, was a province of Shahawkia integrated in May 2020. Fort Sheyekey was built in Lowenand shortly after its discovery, which was the first military fortification built by Shahawkia. Over the summer of 2020, Shahawkia would hold its first festivals in Tyrillym and the then province of Okaeti was expanded. In the fall of 2020, Shahawkia would formally begin to engage in micronationalism, despite that in its early development, Shahawkia was a tribal state. Following its formal engagement in micronationalism, it transitioned to an empire for a short period of time before regressing back into a tribe which would be known as the First Imperial Era. More territorial claims were seen nearing the end of 2020, which also expanded already existing states. Around this time Shahawkia's sister state, Ikash Tribe was created, and land near the capital was ceded in which Ikash Tribe's capital was also built. The first Shahawkian constitution and a declaration of independence were written. An era of imperialism began in October 2020 which was when the state grew a bigger population. A handful of flag changes would occur at the end of 2020 and early 2021, including the adoption of the modern flag. A portion of Shahawkia's history would also be forgotten by Shahawkian veterans of the War of 2019, which would spark a period of time in 2020 when Shahawkia considered its foundation date to be October 5th 2018, although further research on old documents proved the belmieved foundation date to be erroneous and instead to be 12 March 2019.
2021-2023
At the start of 2021, internal activity decreased. A new territorial addition was the biggest ever seen by Shahawkia in 2021 which was the Conglomerate of Ianshak. A state of inactivity occurred until March 2022. From its change in late 2020, the Shahawk Tribe was renamed to the Shahawk Nation, which was changed in mid-2022. Internal activity was picked up in mid-2022, following the commissions of multiple government staff. Around this time, an increase in government officials occurred when a government reform took place, instating the new members' incumbency. Changes began to occur which Stephen I took notice of and he knew Shahawkia was headed downhill if their reforms continued. Former Ertelian President Daniel J. was instated as one of the two Ezhrs. When a then Senator made a vote for Senatorial elections and head-of-state elections, the vote was vetoed by Stephen I which sparked an argument in the Senate between Stephen I and the Senate. Daniel J. would, the next day, repeal Stephen's veto. Upon a very heated argument, Daniel J. was removed from office and Hugo I was returned his position, and the Senators were expelled and replaced with their previous Senators. The former Senators along with Daniel went on to rebel from Shahawkia and declare the Ertelian Republic. Relations were shaky and fluctuating, but an alliance between the two never lasted for more than a week. More territorial expeditions were held with newer areas claimed. After expanding diplomacy and establishing a colony foreign to Shahawkia's metropolitan area, the Shahawkian Second Imperial Era began, which saw the addition of multiple colonies. In the winter of 2022, the Popist States (as it was known at the time) was integrated into the nation. The Civil Winter Dispute of 2022 saw the newfound nation of Era separate itself from Shahawkia. Era, for the majority of its sovereignty, was a borderline puppet state up until Eras willing integration into the Empire around a year later. Shahawkian Intelligence intercepted Ertelian claims to Shahawkian Kruzhnaya which panicked the government. Stephen I ordered an emergency force made up of Ikashians and Tabasphillians to solidify Shahawkian claims. Shahawkian forced pushed into Ertelian Kruzhnaya from the east and west and eventually the two sides met on the beaches of Hantanaya. Ertelian forces were crushed and the Ertelian Republic fell on 26 January 2023. Cities were established all around Shahawkian colonial possessions, and its name was changed from the Shahawk Nation to the Empire of Shahawkia on 8 February 2023 marking the Third Imperial Era. Many internal changes were integrated around this time which saw Shahawkian states transform into more royal titles. Shahawkia's constitution had many forms that consisted of a disheveled conglomerate of ideas. In October 2023, Stephen I combined ideas and principles from all five previous constitutions and formed them into a finite document, which would be ratified on the fourteenth of October, 2023. Shahawkia in this period, would engage in imperialistic tendencies and rapidly and forcefully expand its influence on the surrounding nations. Around the conclusion of the summer of 2023, Shahawkia would discover an inactive micronation that overlapped borders with Shahawkia. A letter was sent to the head of state, however, no response was received and Shahawkian soldiers were mobilized and invaded the nations of Nzhada and Estromada. The war only lasted six days, and Shahawkian forces invaded the Nzhadan capital and quickly conquered Estromada soon thereafter. Soon after, many colonies were transitioned into Archduchies, Grand Duchies, and Duchies. Era was integrated into Shahawkia as a dominion on November 15, 2023, and was soon thereafter transitioned into a principality. Shahawkia would annex territories in Europe which were popular in visitation with the Shahawkian royal family. The addition of these four new territories would bring Shahawkia to its territorial peak. Soon after this, Shahawkia would expel its presence online and a period of declination in the state of the nation occurred, this culminated when the Edict of Shatyril was ratified on 19 May 2024, dissolving the Empire and establishing the Kingdom of Tyrillym.
Tyrillian Early Period
The Tyrillian Early Period would begin on the morning of 19 May, 2024 when the Edict of Shatyril was executively ratified by King Stephen I, dissolving Shahawkia, abandoning European land claims, and establishing the idea that the newfound nation of Tyrillym had rightful ownership to all former-Shahawkian-owned lands except for the abandoned European territories. The Edict of Shatyril originally established Tyrillym as an Empire, however in Tyrillym's first hours, Tyrillym was changed to a Kingdom. Its capital remained the same as Shahawkia's, however its name was changed to Illym, no government was established originally, and no emblem nor legislature were established. While originally inheriting Shahawkia's former geographical system, upon the change to a Kingdom, former provinces were grouped into either governorates or territories. The Edict of Shatyril ceded all former Shahawkian land possessions to the Kingdom of Tyrillym. Tyrillym's government became defined as unitary semi-constitutional monarchy. Tabas, Lowenand, Tesserae, Pinaea, Okaeto-Uria, Tharatis, Aerapoli, and Pacatholi were the first provinces to officially be integrated into the Kingdom. Not long thereafter, the Legislative Directorate became Tyrillym's legislature. In the coming days, Tharatis was transferred from a protectorate to a territory, Okaeto-Uria was broken up into the Governorates of Okaethandos and Uria'ash, Aerapoli was expanded, the newfound Governorates of Lowe and Hantanaya were established, the Territories of Estroma, Nzhada, Kedarvodjia and Ertelia were integrated. As per his former incumbency as Chancellor in the Empire of Shahawkia, Lincoln Boggs was returned his position as Chancellor, however he was later replaced by former Shahawkian diarchal monarch, Hugo V. just days later. After the re-integration of metropolitan Tyrillym, the Governorate of Aethon was annexed, and the following day the rest of Tyrillian ceded territories were officially integrated.
Politics and government
The King serves as the head of state and remains the substantial political authority, next only to the Chancellor and Legislative Directorate. The Chancellor is selected by the King executively. The King executively appoints governors for each governorate, those governors serve in the Legislative Directorate. The government issues frequent censuses of which largely influence the actions of the government.
Early government
As per the Edict of Shatyril, Tyrillym was originally established without a name nor governmental system. In the waking hours of 19 May 2024, Tyrillym was established as an Empire of which inherited the majority of Shahawkia's governmental aspects, however those were quickly reformed to what they are today.
King
The King holds substantial political authority. The King can prorogue, close, and dismiss both the chancellor and legislative directorate. The King can executively issue new aspects of government. If not prorogued, closed, or dismissed, the Chancellor and all Director-Governors' time in office is contingent upon the reign of the King.
Chancellor
The Chancellor holds the ability to temporarily close the legislative directorate and place vetoes on laws, whether passed or still being processed.
Legislative Directorate
The Legislative Directorate is comprised up of all governors of all governorates. Members of the Directorate are referred to as either Directors, Governors, or more commonly, Director-Governors. The Directorate has the ability for the Director-Governors within it to vote amongst themselves on laws. Those laws, if passed by majority, will then be ratified, however the King and Chancellor may veto them at any time. Director-Governors are appointed by the King.
Law and order
Any Government official besides the King may serve as a judge, however if corruption is present the King will remove them from their position. Upon ratification, laws will go into order, and the military is responsible for enforcing ratified laws, thereby also acting as a police force.
Military
The Tyrillian Armed Forces (TAF) was founded on 19 May 2024 and serves as both a police force and national defense force of the country. Tyrillym has not yet been involved in any military conflict.
Foreign relations
Tyrillym exercises its authority over the majority of Cyrylia, as its predecessor state, Shahawkia, conquered nearly every foreign micronation in Cyrylia, the land of which Tyrillym inherited.

Administrative regions
Tyrillym is comprised of eight governorates, and fifteen territories and one protectorate. Governorates are governed by Director-Governors who get a seat in the Legislative Directorate and are appointed by the King. Territories are a province of Tyrillym just as a governorate would be, however they simply are not assigned a Director-Governor and exist as just a lone landmass.

Geography and climate
Tyrillym's mainland has historically been used as fertile lowland for farming. Tyrillym's mainland does not drastically change, and it is mostly flat with commonly little elevation difference. During the summer, metropolitan Tyrillym, at its peak, can get up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, and during the winters reaches as low as negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit. All Governorates besides Aethon lie under the same central climate that metropolitan Tyrillym undergoes. Around half of Tyrillym's claimed territories also lie under the same climate as metropolitan Tyrillym, however the others are subject to desert-esque climates or southern New England-like climates usually not breaking 100 degrees Fahrenheit nor reaching below 30 degrees Fahrenheit. Around half of Tyrillym's claimed territories have the same geography that metropolitan Tyrillym does, the other half is also relatively flat, however not to the extent that metropolitan Tyrillym is. Metropolitan Tyrillym usually consists of few man-made structures and is, for the majority, open flatlands and wooded areas. Any cities or forts Tyrillym has are usually not easy to find as most are tucked away in secluded locations. Metropolitan Tyrillym is located in central Ohio and has no water access besides the north end of the Governorate of Hantanaya, where it borders Lake Erie.
The Governorate of Aethon is considered an oceanic climate, and at its peak reaches up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and as low as negative 12 degrees Fahrenheit. Aethon is significantly more 'hilly' as opposed to metropolitan Tyrillym. Aethon spans along all of the coast of the coast of Akti-Aethona. Aethon has sea access and borders Cape Cod Bay to the east and the North Atlantic Ocean to the west.
Economy
Tyrillym operates using the U.S. dollar, and imports wood, certain metals, and other miscellaneous supplies.
Culture
Tyrillian Culture, whilst being minimally different from modern culture in the United States, is somewhat different. Nearly every Tyrillian also was previously a Shahawkian citizen, and the majority of the culture - if not all - is shared, the majority of Tyrillian culture is rooted in its predecessor state's tribal originations.
Weaponry
The 'thorned-blade' otherwise known as the Blade of Thorns was a commonly used weapon by the Shahawkian military during the Urianic War against the Redwood Tribe, this weapon is still used today with different detachments with the same core idea of the thorned-blade being the inspiration for these different variants. Another weapon still used is the standard wooden club. Simply a log with a larger end, despite it being extremely basic, this weapon was profound in the Urianic War. The Tyrillian Blade, also known as the Blade of the Hawk is simply a branch from a tree. Despite also being basic, the choice from what tree is extremely important. These blades were broken from either trees that were still alive, or trees that had died recently enough to allow the branch to be green and ripe, making it durable for use. The dueling rod is an imported good from the United States which is made out of ripe and durable Bamboo. While this rod is typically not used in disputes or battles, it is used for practicing. Many other weapons including airsoft guns, and semi-functional slingshots have also been used in Tyrillian culture as well. The sword has been a commonly used weapon throughout Tyrillian history dating back to the foundation of the Eagle Tribe, Tyrillian swords can be slim and precise, however most have a durable handle with a broader end to allow for devastating blows in battle or practice. Swords first made their appearance as wooden swords during the beginning of the Eagle Tribe in early 2019 and evolved into swords made out of precisely cut wood using a saw by Summer 2020, in Spring 2023, swords became mostly made out of dense plastic allowing for very painful - but not fatal - blows, in Spring 2024 real metallic swords became of mass-use for the military.

Dishes & Drinks
Tyrillym's first real adopted meal was a soup, named simply for its color, Green Soup, a soup made from many different vegetables. Tyrillym would then go on to adopt dishes such as Rice and Potatoes as well as Chive-Stuffed Potatoes. Tyrillian culture would later evolve to focus more around meaty foods, such as steak, pork, and chicken. Many popular dishes today include Steak with Broccoli and Rice, Smoked Chives, Smoked Pepper, Corn Chips and Salsa, Spaghetti, and more. Some drinks include sugary beverages like Coca Cola, Fanta, and Dr. Pepper. Other drinks such as Milk, Hot Chocolate, and Cranberry-Pomegranate Juice are also popular among Tyrillian.
Songs and Hymns
Tyrillian prideful songs are written to the tunes of previously existing songs. Many ceremonial songs and war songs are written to the tunes of Russian marches and Mongolian War Hymns. Tyrillian songs always feature a notable percussion part. As many Tyrillian songs are drums that come from the beating of logs and animal skin.
Language
The Shahawkian Language begun as an "alternate-english"[d] language that retained nearly identical wording as normal english would. Modern Asupius Shahawkian would stem from these ideas. In spring 2020, Linguistics in Tyrillym were revolutionized with the first genuine lingual differentiation becoming relevant. Through many different lingual tweaks, notably Old Dorchester, Soulryllic Shahawkian, Presbanic Shahawkian, Exunelak Shahawkian, and Asupius Shahawkian. After the Edict of Shatyril, the linguistics of Shahawkia were scrapped, and Standard Tyrillian was established as a writing system.
Symbolism
Tyrillym is known for its infamous lambda in the centre of the flag. The lambda comes from an old alphabet which gradually became used to represent places of Tyrillian authority. Tyrillym historically has always been represented with the color blue, mainly for Tyrillym's surplus of blue sky as well as egality and liberty. Gold is another symbolic color which is intended to represent stability and perseverance (specifically in the case of the modern flag), as well as Christianity and its importance in the country. As time progressed, Tyrillym would begin using many vector art bird designs and adapting them uniquely and also editing them. The star was also used in Tyrillian symbolism, the core reason is unknown, but Tyrillym retained it throughout time.
Lambda and the Shaczec
The old Egalian letter for "S" was included in early pan-Tyrillian symbolism, originally the letter looked like a flat Greek lambda, despite the author of the alphabet having no knowledge of the symbol's existence. When the lambda was discovered to be nearly identical to the representative symbol, it started being written specifically in the Greek variant. Over time, that symbol, called the Tyrillian Shaczec, or just the Shaczec, which is still used today, progressed into the Ulkrishaczec which is three lambdas, the rightmost and centre facing right and the leftmost facing left with a spike and a star protruding from the centre lambda. The Shaczec and Ulkrishaczec are additions from the original symbolism of the lambda. The letter, and the original alphabet is speculated to have predated pan-Tyrillian existence, and and instead have been integrated into the nation during the Urianic War or sometime in early to mid 2019, however this is unknown. The lambda first began appearing in Egalian alphabets in early to mid 2019 and resurged during the Dorchesterian golden age when the Shaczec emerged on the fifth flag of Shahawkia. The lambda didn't appear anywhere in pan-Tyrillian symbolism for a while until the Second and Third Imperial Eras when the lambda began re-appearing on provincial flags. During the later period of the Second Imperial Era and early period of the Third Imperial Era, the lambda appeared carved into military helmets, trees, and it became used as a indicator for anywhere that Shahawkian authority covered. During the mid to late period of the Third Imperial Era, the lambda appeared more and more on provincial flags. When the Edict of Shatyril was ratified, the Kingdom of Tyrillym was founded with its current flag having a lambda in the centre.
Journalism
Journalism began in pan-Tyrllian cultures in April 2019 with the first journal being written, titled "The Dorchester Prophecy." The journal described the way that the people live, it detailed tribal administrative divisions, plans for the future, and a dream for a glorified tribal state. It is in the Dorchester Prophecy that the roots of Egalian Lambdic are found, as some seemingly nonsensical words which were, in actuality Egalian words, used in a slang-like manner alongside primary use of the English language. The journal details job titles and depicts the old Egalian culture to be primarily identical to a hunter-gatherer lifestyle. It is estimated that the journal stopped being written in over the Summer of 2019, as new information that occurred in 2020 is detailed in the journal, separate from the old texts. The second journal has no name and is nearly the same as the Dorchester Prophecy, but it has new information. It detailed the member count higher than the previous journal, and most importantly, it detailed a new form of alphabet which is now known as Reformed Dorchesterian. Later journals were created in 2020 which detailed mainly information about the modern-day Governorate of Lowenand and primarily the Ravine Ianshomo. Journalism stopped for a while but would resurge in small bits over the next few years with different alphabets and new forms of languages being introduced, but most of them never being journalized.
National Animal
Tyrillym's national animal has historically been the eagle throughout Shahawkia's Tribal Period, many mythical birds such as the Thunderbird were adopted during the early period of the First Imperial Era, and later in the Second and Third Imperial Eras, birds like the Red-Tailed Hawk would be adopted for small periods of time. In the Third Imperial Era the Cooper's Hawk was adopted as the National Animal, as nearly all of Tyrillian land is inhabited by the Cooper's Hawk.
