The Totalitarian Party of Andersonia (commonly known as the Totalitarian Party, or TP) was the ruling party of the Glorious Dictatorial Republic of Andersonia. Its former leader is Siroccan Premier Daniel Anderson, who dissolved the party (and the state) on 3 November 2010.
Time in office
The Totalitarian Party was not officially created on 4 November 2008. As records were not kept, it is not known when the party was actually founded, although 4 November is used retrospectively.
The party was dissolved on 3 November 2010, to make way for the Federal Commonwealth of Sirocco, which Anderson now leads. Anderson decided to dissolve the party as "it was too hard to maintain and I found it unpleasant." The Siroccan Federal Party, the TP's successor, does not share the same ideologies as its predecessor.
Ideology
The ideology of the TP is simple: no opposition. Nothing is allowed to oppose the government or the state, and attempts to do so are swiftly dealt with. However it is not a complete totalitarian party in practice, as many freedoms are granted to the populace.
