Theodore Bear (Sabian: teodór gonnavái biá) is an Agatonian politician currently serving as the 2nd Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Agatonia. He is a member of the Supreme Court, alongside four current Associate Justices Ford Shirokuma Senior, Ford Shirokuma Junior, Mister B. and Leon Savarin. Theodore joined the Supreme Court after he beat Chief Justice candidate Manuel Shikakata with a 1-3 vote. He is often considered as the sibling of Ursus Arctos Minibii, due to being the larger version of the smaller plush toy.

Theodore participates in parliament sessions and Declarations of Suits since 24 October 2024. He is the first plush toy in the Commonwealth of Agatonia to be the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He is one of the two only plush toys with full English-language names, alongside Kenny Whitehorse. The name "Theodore" derives from the formal name for Teddy Roosevelt, Theodore. He is the currently the only Agatonian citizen with a doppelgänger, namely Ursus Arctos Minibii.

Theodore began his political career on 24 October 2024, after he applied for the Chief Justice & Associate Justice Elections candidacy for being the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He successfully won the elections with a 1-3 vote, defeating Chief Justice candidate Manuel Shikakata. Shikakata only received one vote, namely from Empress Sachiko I. He is often considered as "one of the most revolutionary politicians that have made a positive impact for the Agatonian Government".

Early life

Theodore is a native Agatonian from Saintteresohillian origin. He has no siblings, although he as a doppelgänger named Ursus Arctos Minibii, the sibling of Ursus Minibii. He has been admitted as an Agatonian citizen on 24 October 2024 and joined the Agatonian Government on the same date. His race is bear, alongside Ainosuke Kumakata, Ford Shirokuma Senior, Ford Shirokuma Junior, Kenny Whitehorse, Ursus Maritimus Minibii and Ursus Arctos Minibii.

Political career

Chief Justiceship application alongside other applicants

Theodore Bear was one of the two applicants applying for Chief Justiceship, alongside Manuel Shikakata. The other applicants, who were applying for Associate Justiceship were Ford Shirokuma Senior, Ford Shirokuma Junior, Hiyoko Hinakata, Hop Godai Junior, Kenny Whitehorse, Leon Savarin, Mister B. and Ursus Arctos Minibii, in which the applicants indicated in bold won in the 2024 Supreme Court Chief Justice & Associate Justice Elections.

After the elections

After the election results were announced at approximately 18:15 Kangarooville Time (16:00 UTC), he was demonstrating that the four current Associate Justices always need to listen to him whenever he says so. He also demonstrated it against Empress Sachiko I, to make sure that there always should be stabilization in the court. Shortly after that, the 1st Court of Agatonia has been confirmed by him. Theodore hopes his demonstrations will also affect the Agatonian Government. Due to his victory in the elections and the succession to the Supreme Court Chief Justiceship of President Kaito I, it has made a "positive impact" for the Agatonian Government, due to several vacant positions and a lack of government members that is currently recovering slowly.

Supreme Court membership

Minibii is one of the five current plush toy members of the Supreme Court of Agatonia, alongside Associate Justices Ford Shirokuma Senior, Ford Shirokuma Junior, Mister B. and Leon Savarin. The Supreme Court of Agatonia fully consists of plush toys, as there are already three human government members in Agatonia. He is a member of the House of Representatives, but he still doesn't align himself with a political party. Theodore's goal is to establish all the remaining Agatonian courts and to join a political party before mid-November or December.
