Themata Redonda is the northernmost themata of the Antiquitian Empire within the Caribbean and is subject to claim by various other micronations on top of a macronation, instead of the usual macronation only claim. This makes Redonda politically important because it signifies the empires persistence and shows that it is willing to enter the international micronation realm. It is otherwise of little importance at this point in the empires history as it is unable to administrate its lands fully.
