The Supreme Senate (also referred to as the Supreme Council) is the main legislative body of the government of the Ward Empire. Founded on 6 July 2022, along with the nation, it draws heavy inspiration from the senate of the Roman Empire. The senate acts as the centre of political authority for the nation. However much political power is still vested in the Supreme Emperor who has control over the senate and its functions.
Sessions
Session 1
The first session of the Supreme Senate was held on the 6th July where most of the laws of the Ward Empire were passes. The session also included what the jobs of each Council member is and what their title would be. This would be the first and only session that was not held in the Supreme Senate building, but instead during the walk over to Countdown due to wanting to eat.
Session 2
The second session was held on the 7 July 2022. This session was called so that the flag of the Ward Empire could be chosen. The Supreme Emperor called the meeting himself to propose the flag that he had created. The flag was passed and is still in us to this day.
Session 3
The third session was held in the 8th July 2022. The session was called by the Supreme Emperor to decide on how the provinces will work and who owns what. This became a heated session due to Council member wanting to own more than the plebs. The issue was eventually sorted out with each member of the Ward Empire getting a province.
Session 4
The fourth session was held on the 7th July 2022. This session was held due to the food crises that happened on that day when Supreme Emperor forgot his food and was poor. It was decided that Territorial Chancellor Gordon would convert his province, the Cibus Province into food storage to help with ant further food crises.
Session 5
The fifth session was held in the 16th August 2022. This session was held to sort out what then Pleb Jayden's title would be since he had an important role in the Council and that he was angry about being called a pleb. It was decided that his title would be Tribute Chancellor.
Session 6
The sixth session is known as the violent session. This was held on the 19th August where the national sport of the Ward Empire would be chosen. This tension quickly went up during a vote of if it should be called Football of Soccer and when the Supreme Emperor vetoed the notion of it being called Soccer a member of the Council got violent. This violence was ended by the Supreme Emperor when he punched the Council member in the gut. Because of this situation it was decided that during a meeting of the Supreme Senate that there would be no violence.
